We use the Famly App daily to keep in touch with our parents each day. Each parent can download the App to their phone and log on to our Learning Tree page and view their child’s profile to see meals, nappy changes and photos of their child’s day.

Parents sharing children’s early experiences helps practitioners plan for effective learning at the setting, and helps them support parents in continuing their children’s learning development at home.
Each child at nursery will have a key person and secondary key person who will support your child’s learning and development throughout their time at nursery ensuring that their individual needs are met. Children will change key person when they move rooms, the small nature of our nursery means children will be familiar with all the practitioners on the day they attend.
Your child’s key person will support your child through new challenges, experiences and opportunities.
They will observe your child on a day to day basis while they are playing and exploring and will track and record their development in their Learning Journey.
achievements will be recorded and displayed in your child’s individual learning journey account by your child’s key person.

We hold parent’s evening once a year, this enables you to meet with your child’s Key Person and discuss your child’s Learning Journey with them. Parents can arrange individual appointments anytime throughout the year, if they would like to discuss their child’s development.
These are a great opportunity for parents and grandparents to join in nursery activities with your child. We hold these sessions every term usually between 4.00-4.45 pm. You will also be able to look at your child’s journal and speak to your child’s Key Person.
We do a number of nursery events over the calendar year which we invite parents to. This gives parents the chance to meet other families outside of the nursery day when it can be busy at drop off and pick up.
Parents are always welcome to come into nursery to read, share experiences and hobbies.
All our policies are available for parents to read and we welcome feedback and suggestions to continually enrich the quality of the care we provide.
