Children move into the Sproutlets room around 20 months. The Sproutlets still learn through sensory play but they are also becoming keen explorers and starting to practice their language skills. Practitioners are beginning to advance children’s early communication and physical development through daily activities inside and outside the room. Children are encouraged to independently begin to experiment with role play, paint, water and sand whilst having access to resources tailored to their development needs.

Outdoor Learning

Outdoors, toddlers can climb and explore in their own play area. Whether they’re in the mud kitchen, sandpit, searching for bugs or building a den they’re a very active little bunch!
